My chosen display method for the many small works I had made was to assemble them into multiple boxes, which could be stacked for display.
I was given many dried poppy seed pods, that leant themselves to making whimsical figures.
In a previous show (Understory at Darts Hill Garden, Surrey, BC) I used old discarded silver tea pots and coffee pots as plant containers. After that show, I found I was still much attracted to my collection of old tea pots and coffee pots. I was inspired to create whimsical sketches of them, and present them here.
My urge to create whimsical sketches of found items and household objects did not end with my tea pot series. So here I present many sketches (too many?) of items I saw in my own distorted view.
